Usually they do not ask for your paystub. Employer's letter should be enough. But if you are saying you are currently employed with the company, you can be asked for a paystub. Since you are in India anyways, you might want to say that you will join employment with the company after your gc.

You should be alright. 5% is not a significant drop. If you can get a letter from your company saying that you will be paid the wages mentioned in LC after you return with GC, you will be perfectly safe (that wage is for future job anyways). Even otherwise, dont lose your sleep on it.
