the INS is sending FP notices with 485 receipts?

My wife wants to go and stay for more than 2 months in India. Can we do that if we have AP? We have applied for it and still waiting. What other documents do they ask in the POE?(like EAD card/485 receipt etc.,) Do we need to wait till we get the EAD card before we can travel?

Just knew that the checks were cashed. Didn\'t call to check RD & ND.

why did you go to local INS for EAD? Any particular reason?

Do we need to show AP while going out of US? Or is I94 enough....Wondering what might happen if my wife doesn\'t get her AP before she goes back! can I send her the AP before she gets back to US? Really appreciate any help from experienced travellers!!!
