You posted elsewhere that your interview is in Jan Are you sure yr 485 ND is OCT 2001 not Oct 2000 It seems that you got an interview date on the fast track? There are many guys with ND July 2001 who have not got a FP notice

Does the applicant get a copy of the 485 receipt?

Why are you arguing about semantics, esbee? This info was posted here so that people are not inconvineienced after buying a ticket. As an Indian I find it highly offensive that a transit visa is needed to pass tro an airport. If a person does not have a valid visa then the airlines themselves...

No that cannot be the case or the PDs would have regressed in the visa bulletin There are many people who do not come on this board. Hope it is just the case that they are getting their approvals
