i think your number is still quiet high, because there are only 5000 selectees from Nepal and Iran in 2015 which means there are smaller hole between 10k+ CNs to 16k CNs. your number probably have the same chance with me in DV 2014 (AS18xxx). but don't lose hope. maybe 2015 will be different...
I never imagine before 50% of total selectees will be disappointed.
We with high CNs are like subtitute player on soccer field who will only play when someone die. :(
Im afraid because they always pick selectees more than available visas. But if the density above 13k still 25percents and they use 650 nacara for rest of asia, maybe asia will hit 20k (with assumption nepal cut off still 9,5k and PHP and CLM embassy only can proccess max 200 cns on sep from...
Honestly i don't think history will repeat again. 3500 visas for 1 country in AS region for me is too much. It's like titanic movie, buddy. Everyone hopes the remaining lifeboats are enough for them, although they have to sacrifice the others.
850 will be interviewed on jul and aug. And there is a possibility some of 162 ap become issued + some aos. So i think Nepal already hit 3500 country limit.
i dont know LOLs.. probably all regions will go current.. but when the visas exhausted, KCC will cancel all of the interview scheduled :( *just guessing* im sure Nepal already hit its country limit. and Asia will hit too soon.. but we still don't know what plan does KCC has to do with it...
My prediction
Af - CURRENT
Eu - CURRENT
Asia- CURRENT
Oc - CURRENT
Sa- CURRENT
but they definitely will cancel our interview when they already fulfill their quotas.
they still can have their interview.. it's pretty unfair for lower CN since they can have interview anytime before Sep if KCC and the embassy allow it. some people with low CNs sent their forms in May and they still can have their interview on Aug..
yes.. it's not just bad for asia.. but for other regions too.. but we can't do anything.. life must go on.. we have to forget that we has "Randomly selected" as dv 2014 winner after a few days if we aren't scheduled for sep interview. good luck everybody for your live and career in your country..
i think sep cut off will depend on:
1. CNs density
2. success rate in last 2 months
3. available visas remaining
4. and don't forget.. i think embassy's capacity will be affect sep cut off too
based on CEAC data, im sure all region won't be current except NA.
