C-11 regulations and 183 days rule ????
Regulations related to Transition have not been published They will publish the 2nd half of the regulation in Feb next year. In the just-published regulations, I have not seen any place relating to whether pr landed so far will still be judged by the 183-day rule or the new 3yr/5yr rule...- need_help123

C-11 Royal Assent ????
Does Bill C-11 apply to people who got their Canadian PR last year? I landed in Feburary 2000. I then came back to US to work after staying in Toronto for several days. My Question is: under the new law, can i go back to canada as a PR?- need_help123
