We've got H1B twice (in Vancouver) with the pay stubs without any signatures and other formal attributes (just printed electronic copies). It wasn't a problem.
Looks like a common situation
Similar but not the same situation happened to us 1 year ago. We traveled to Canada to get new American H1B visas, and, on the way back, we got neither any stamps nor new I-94 cards. After that we got asylum and applied for green cards – so far we have had no problem.
We've got political asylum recently. I heard that the related attorney fees and other expenses may be deducted for federal income tax purposes.
Is it true? If yes then how?
