There is no confusion. What you are seeing is true of almost 90-95% of our cases. A few don't get yellow-letters.

Did you do your finger-print? That online status that says "RFE" is for your fingerprint. The letter you have received is yellow-letter. This is for the interview. Your online status has nothing to do with the yellow-letter.

If it gives you peace of mind, go ahead. But, whether you send it with application or not, make sure you have them for the interview. More than the return, you need the IRS transcripts. So file and get them in mail from IRS.

Anywhere...Costco, CVS, Walgreens, Kinkos -- just about anywhere they take passport-sized photographs. You don't need to. Just have them ready to take for the interview.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, another guy got a certified mail from USCIS and it was a denial because of physical/continuous presence. Not sure what it could be, in light of these anecdotal evidences....

I got YL last week too, but no IL yet. My friend got both YL and IL (ID = 10/6/2010) for Atlanta on the same day (9/7) I got my YL. FYI.

What is a "canceled check" anyway? Can anybody explain? So the court orders "each month Dad pays $1000 to Child". Now, Dad is expected to mail-in the checks for $1000 each month. Now, what does the "canceled check" mean? Pardon my ignorance. What if at the time of interview, the court had not...
