Question about multiple A-numbers and N-400 interview

Multiple A# issues can crop-up due to administrative bungling and clerical bollix. Check my own experience 5 years ago on this very damn issue: http://bit.ly/a7Wxoe I feared similar problems this time, assuming, the files weren't merged properly then due to the last-minute Good-Samaritan help...

    Atlanta GA - N-400 Timeline

Nope. Straightforward case. His appointment was at 2:45 PM. In fact, he also had the "you are recommended for approval" in N-652. Still, he had to wait for 2 months to get the Oath date on 12/10/2010. I am screwed because of the unavailability of the Judicial Oath date that should have been...

Question about multiple A-numbers and N-400 interview

When they figure that there is multiple A# issue, they do summon all the files before the interview. AT times, not all files come. So, they delay the decision.

Question about multiple A-numbers and N-400 interview

Discovered during the interview. Or uncovered, when they did not get multiple files from their archives. So, you won't know about it until Interview time.

Not entirely, pal. One of my buddies, who did not have name-change and had Administrative Oath, had to wait precisely 2 months from the interview date. His Oath date is 12/10/2010 (upcoming) and his interview date was 10/06/2010. I am one of those unfortunate cases you are referring to as...

N-400 Atlanta waiting for Oath Ceremony

Thanks, Al. The whole thing is crazy. To give you an example, my birth certificate says "KANIYAN MIDDLENAME SOMENAME.P" instead of say "KANIYAN MIDDLENAME POONGUNRANAR". In other words, the lastname on my BC is initialized instead of expanded. That's all to it. Now, everywhere -- right from my...

N-400 Atlanta waiting for Oath Ceremony

Al - Can you kindly point me to any pointers on how to go about this route? Really depressing as I have a pressing need to get this taken care of. If USCIS would allow me to go through the normal admin oath, I can take care of the name-change myself. But, I am not sure if USCIS will act on my...

    Misdemeanor charges and N-400 application

Remember: Shoplifting may be "minor" in practical sense, but it is a CIMT for Immigration Shoplifting is always a fascinating offense for immigration related matters. Although the dude may have lifted a $0.50 object, still it is a Crime Involving Moral Turpitude (CIMT) for immigration matters...

N-400 Atlanta waiting for Oath Ceremony

No ceremonies have been scheduled yet for 2011 and so the wait is going to be much longer. Do you know of anybody having done this Bobsmyth? Meaning, requesting for a "regular oath ceremony" without name-change after it was tagged for judicial oath?

    Atlanta GA - N-400 Timeline

Just to show am still there without oath. No oath-date has been set for 2011 Judicial ceremonies in Atlanta and that means the wait will prolong.

    Atlanta GA - N-400 Timeline

Mine was scheduled at 1:45 PM. I waited from 12:10 PM. They put the applications in separate trays assorted by time-slots -- 12:30, 12:45; 1:00 etc. So nobody touched 1:45 PM tray until 2 PM. When I was called for the interview, it was 2:05 PM. But, the officer stated that I had to undergo a...

N-400 Atlanta waiting for Oath Ceremony

I called the NDGA (Georgia North District Federal Court) and they confirmed that November 5, 2010 ceremony is the last in 2010. At the time of my interview I came to know that November slots are full. That leaves folks like us in limbo because NDGA has not yet scheduled dates for 2011. Usually...

Interview Passed; No Oath I passed the interview today. My interview was scheduled at 1:45 PM. So, I went in at 12:20 PM hoping for an earlier interview. But, I wasn't called in until 2:05 PM. Interview was straight-forward, although, the officer saw that my Birth Certificate was not exactly...
