CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! I can understnad the imense relief you must be feeling right now, having been in your situation not too long back. In my case my 485 got approved on 12/17/2004 and my wifes 485 was reopened just a day before the 485 status got updated. Also I had talked to an immigration...
Couldnt stop myself from writing on this thread. If these people are really worried about their country they should stop buying everything from Wal-Mart (Made in China). They should also stop running their cars (GAS is made in some Gulf country). And two BLACK guys (African american Brothers as...
My 485 was reopened on the same day as my 140 was reopened. my wifes 485 was reopened a day before my 485 was approved. her 485 is still pending.
Second thing is my 140 does not show approved on the web-site. However, when I called USCIS on December 27, 2004 and came to know that my 485 was...

For substitute labor cases the PD is the labor filing date of the substitute. I have already got my GC with substitute labor and the PD printed on my 485 approval notice is the filing date of substitutes labor and I hope that this should put this matter to rest.
If you look at Dec 2004 passport tracker, people who get stamped in the first week of DEC 2004, have started receiving their cards. So I guess not too long.
You are correct that at POE they will know that GC is approved. Because they always check their system with A# and when they will check with A#, they will come to know immediately. Also a inspection is done before you board your flight to USA. They collect all your details there and in the time...
