EAD Approved I eFiled my 2nd EAD on MAY 25 2005 and got 12 emails for me and my wife. My heart was beating when i saw 12 emails thinking abt 485 emails but it was for EAD.

45 approved means, out of the total 211 cases filed on 25th June 2004, 45 cases have been approved. I am scanning cases only for the cases received on 25h June 2004.

tsr1974, I opened up an inquiry or REFERAL as they call it. They asked me to check after 30 days if i do not hear from them. I asked if my application has cleared name check, he said he does not have that kind of information, was polite but firm.Will update if anything happens, 8 more days...

New updates as of yesterday june 21st, 485 moved by 20 days

tsr1974, i tried calling a couple of times but they told me to wait for the dates to pass 30days after RD, i just saw it moved, will be calling the 800 # tomorrow. Have less hopes of any approvals with the dry months of July, August, Sept due to visa unavailability.

New EAD does not start with expiry date of ur current EAD. It will be from the day it is approved. good luck

There is no clause which differentiates between primary & secondary. Primary & Secondary are two different 485 applications, if secondary does not clear before 30 June 05, it will have to wait till Oct 05 for the visa #'s to be available.
