In my case, no 2nd FP and no RFE.

A RFE has been generated on 28th Feb 2004 for Jan 18th RD- 485.
Came to know thru Senator after contacting him 3 times. My lawyer has not received so far.
The senators letter says that the RFE letter is still with clerical department. However my 45 days countdown to replying has already begun...
My lawyer has put us in jeopardy.
After having booked the tickets, now my attorney says that he cannot recommend and guarantee that there won't be a problem entering US. I have a valid AP.
As per the lawyer, travelling and safe returns depends upon whether it is a paid or an unpaid leave...
thanks everyone
Travelling for AP holders has become very problematic.
I think as of today Austrian and KLM are good options if U want to travel on low cost fares.
Thanks again
To Moderator and friends
I know this has been discussed recently, but I am unable to locate that thread.
My family wants to travel in March 2004 on AP. If someone has travelled on AP without getting into the hitch of obtaining transit visa? or can list a particular Airlines (preferably low...
UR right cinta
I contacted senator George Allen's office in Oct 2003. That was the first time I contacted them. Standard reply: Wait 30-60 days.
Second time I contacted them in Dec 2003. No response from that office. They did not even acknowledge the letter. I left 4 phone messages for Emily...
But definately one way L-1 has an additional life-line as the spouse of L-1 can work legally from day one as compared to H4's who cannot work and cannot obtain SSN.
Even if L Visa has to be renewed every year, its worth it because there is an additional household income being contributed by the...

RAM and LSI-man started looking for the missing i-node, c+ta all over the forest. They made friendship with the forest admin SU-greev and his powerful co-processor ha-NEUMAN. ha-NEUMAN was a legendary figure. He was a child prodigy and came up with newer...
Thanks san
Appreciate your reply. According to you what I understand is that L1 is more secure, competitive, better and the employer has a lesser chance to exploit compared to H1B.
Thanks again
Find out your area senator and try to trigger the case. Write a letter explaining you plight and ask him to intervene. Most of the Senators have a immi dept to respond to these kind of issues.
What happens when contacting senator does not help??:o :o :o
One thing I have been noticing...
Does anyone throw some light on this?
1. What is the total duration of L-1 Visa?. Is it the same as H1B (6 yrs extendable)?
2. If one has a choice, what would one choose in terms of benefits and security: H1B or L-1?
3. What is the immi-cap for L-1 in a fiscal year? (65,000)??
Read these...
Hey, no offense to you, but I think you are exaggerating here.
I have never heard nor seen anyone like this. First couple of points may be right but the rest of em are just difficult to digest.
Why would anyone go back after getting the citizenship??
In my case it did not help at all.
Contacted 2 times. 1st time was told to wait 30-60 days. After waiting for 90 days, contacted again in nov 2003. He did not even acknowledge the receipt of the letter, leave alone getting some help from INS.
So your post has no meaning at all.
