"Victim of a crime" Silly question ? I believe one could be flagged in FBI name check and so land in their purgatory if one had been a "victim of a crime" . My car was broken into year 2004 and i reported it to police. So, i am victim of a crime. Is that why i am still stuck in name check ?

Just like that - Rant I mean i saw INdia EB2 with PD 2003, 2004 and even 2005 get their GC . For me with PD Nov.2002 it was current for most of the last year. But damn got stuck in namecheck and didn't get approved. And I-485 pending duration was short of successful measure ( less than 2 year...

I think so. No India EB2 approvals till Oct.2008 . And the employers have a sigh of relief ( that their smart employees - even if not paid high - won't leave them soon . Exception : AC21 , but not as free as GC based job change). Does anybody have an idea of how many India EB2 applications...

My case similar.Only thing i have a PD of Nov.2002 . Will USCIS update us how many pending EB2 India I-485 applications with PD up to 2002 are there ? This might help us to make a rough projection ?

Towards the year end, if they estimate that Eb1 is not going to utilize all numbers, then it flows to Eb2. Since India EB1 is current, i think there is a chance of some numbers flowing to India Eb2.

May be they borrow some "unused numbers" from previous years. And raising the 7% country limit is not going to happen.

Can't believe this ! 5+ years in I-485 namecheck ?! When did you start the GC journey ( i mean , filing of labor, I-140 etc). By the way the judges don't count the sufferings before , like getting stuck in labor 'backlog enhancement centers' etc ?
