H4 status conversion from H1
but i have not worked . I have no pay stubs or w2. someone told me that if i have not worked than my h4 status is valid irrespective of h1b approval. any thoughts to share ?- smitag

Dear GotPR , Thanks for the info. Do I need to do anything here in US (like apply for change of status ) ? or just at the time of stamping in India go for H4 & it will be fine ? Thanks !- smitag
