So he didnt ask you anything except the company name and address? I called few days back and he asked what the 140 application is based on? I had no clue about it so he figured I am the applicant and asked that I should ask my company to call back.

was yours a labor substitution case? did you or your company lawyer initiate any inquiry since the case had been pending for longer than expected?
Thanks cantstopme. Others please take some action, do not wait for others to send letters. There are quite a few whose applications were filed before April 2004 and are still pending even though the dates have advanced on web site.
Guys,
Do something about it. Sitting idle and hoping others to do it for you is not going to help anyone. It is a serious matter and you need to take action.
Many labor applications are getting approved at companies like Sun, Cisco and Oracle even though these companies have been doing so many layoffs. So, DOL is looking at case by case basis not going strictly by Carlson memo.

It is random processing. They approve some applications and move the dates forward while more than 50% of the EB3 applications are still pending which were filed between October 2003 and March 2004. In fact, they have not even been touched. So, please do not go by the processing date posted on...
Processing is random at VSC, so dont count too much on it. There are more than 50% cases pending for EB3 applications filed between October 2003 and March 2004.
I have sent an email to Mr. Khanna about starting a petition for inconsitencies in processing of I-140 applications. The website shows they are processing April 2004 cases even though 50% of the cases filed in previous months dating as far back as Oct 2003 are still pending.
Please go ahead...

How big is your company? Do you have a 4 year degree? Does the RFE make any sense or do you think it was a result of initiating a query on your application?
