DV-2016 has been finally fixed. [Screenshot]

Damnn 84k selectees that's a really good amount of selectees to ensure that nobody with a high cn gets left out like me in dv15..it's better like this than picking 125k++ winners only to not get interviewed because the cn is too high, i wish i won dv16

Yeah German passport is one of the most valuable passports in the world, you can travel to any developed country without needing a visa. Compare your passport to mine, i can't even go to Australia without a visa

If dv didn't exist i probably would be stuck in this third world country until i die, i don't qualify for any of the other visa.. Because I'm not rich and I don't have a special skill That's why this lottery means so much to me

Americans are the luckiest people in the world, being given a gift that 15 million people would sacrifice anything to get (us citizenship) Being born in a third world country sure sucks, but i digress

I don't have a family in America I'm not rich (in both American and my country's standard) I'm not skilled So if dv didn't exist I'd never have the chance of being a us citizen no matter what? (unless of course, illegal immigration)

Well education based visa as well as profession based ones are very difficult and a huge pain in the arse to obtain unless you're a rocket scientist who just invented somethijg or a millionare with deep pockets who can provide jobs to their citizens

Because you're from Australia, if you were from my country then Germany wouldn't have accepted you as easily because I'm from a third world country.. You know that not all passports are created equal, i can't even go to your country without making a visa beforehand..

Frankly I don't think they're gonna give a clear answer, probably something along the lines of "we're currently facing technical issues please wait" The folks who pick up the phone don't handle dv questions only

Yeah i wouldn't be surprised if this guy is from Australia or Europe, certainly not a third world country like most of us are living in, hence the differing opinions Find it silly for Europeans and Australians to get sad because of not selected when I'd jump in excitement for a chance of living...
