I am in the same situation as you. USCIS received my I-485 on June 14th, none of the checks have been cashed. We filed it in Texas. Two of my co-workers applied at the same time as me and they already got the FP appoiments.
Any other in the same situation?

When you file I485, you can file at the same time the Advance Parol document, (travel document). You will receive this (about 3-5 months) after filing I485, you use this document for reentry and you do not need H1B anymore. You have to renew AP every year.
I have two I-140, one is already approval and the second ones is still pending.
The one that is still pending has a PD of 2004 and I used this one for filling my I-485, because the PD were not available for the approved one at the time of filling. The one is approval has a PD of 2005, and now...

I did not understand the las part that you wrote: "H1B visa stamp is not for going out of US".
My questions is if I am holding both AP and H1B is it still ok to show H1B at the port enter, or if I am AP holder, I will lose my h1b stautus?
