    have only one year to stay. should we start GC process now or not a good idea?

    Hi, we have only 12 months (till Dec 31, 2003) to stay in USA on H1. Our employer offered to sponsor for GC now. We are confused. If we apply now, and our labor gets approved before end of this year can we extend our visa? thanks in advance
