    I-824 Pending - How long? Please Help

    I filed I-824 with Vermont Service Center back in Aug 7 2006. It is still showing pending. Although according their website they completed cases upto Aug 30 2006. Anybody have any idea how long they are actually taking to get it approved now a days? Thanks

    I am waiting for my I-824 approval for my family based immigrant visa. I hired an attorney to file my 824. However I want to do the rest by myself, how can I notify CIS to send everthing to me rather than to my attorney?
