as long as u still have a valid visa or valid status and you did not leave that status, you are legal on that status applying for asylum does not make you out of previous status.

it says list every organization on the form.... now i dont know what to do..... is there any way i can check from uscis how to answer this question, because the same problem is in another question that asks expiration date of current immigration status, which is asylum and it was granted...

on form I-485 it asks you the expiration date of affiliation with organization. if i write indefinitely there (i am member of religious organization, that was basis of my asylum too), it shows error but let me keep indefinitely there. what should i do, should i write indefinitely or what...

was it asylum approval or "withholding or deportation". i think "withholding or deportation" cannot apply for green card. i know A5 can apply but i am not sure about c8. but i know that if c8 is issued for "withholding or deportation' then you cannot apply for green card. hopefully it answers...
