The answer is correct. EB-2/EB-3 is a category assigned by USCIS not DOL. If your ETA750 (ie your LC) has as requirements a Masters or BS + 5 years, then you will be able to file under EB-2. To be clear, it does not matter what your education is, only what is in the ETA form.
