52452 issued plus AOS (about 1000). So we have about 1300 left. They may not *need* to stop the process on Monday, but they might do that anyway.

Curtis posted an update that gave the AOS number as 990 as of the 18th, so we can assume that number is over 1000 now.

In DV2023 the process was announced as ending on the 6th, and embassies started turning people away on the 7th. However, that was announced and cabled to all the embassies. The 23rd is what lawyers for the government have said could happen, but that is not an official notification. Almost 550...

Relax. Your case is already counted as approved. A visa is allocated.

When you say "AP status", do you mean CEAC says "refused" with a long description (221g, but commonly known as AP ), or do you mean CEAC shows "Administrative Processing". Because that latter status is part of the visa printing process.

There are many such cases where cases appear to have been skipped. We can't know why in all cases, KCC haven't explained. However, it seems pretty much certain that no further 2NLs will be sent for DV2024 and DV2025 2NLs have started.

I I don't massively disagree, but the law does spend a lot of effort of describing how the quotas are set if they are simply going to ignore them, and we have see years with obvious adherence to the quotas.
