I went in and applied. It took about 6 business days to arrive. My greencard arrived in about 10 day’s after activation but when I went into social security they hadn’t issued a number to me. The office sends the paperwork to Baltimore and then they send it out to you.

I wonder if next year the numbers will be around the same amount or significantly lower. Is 44,000 the lowest number of issued visas for the lottery?

Is there a way to check if your social security card has been issued after you have been in to see them at the office?

Is it worth going to the dept of road transportation and getting a copy of my driving history before going over or will most insurance companies like geico etc contact them anyway. Am looking at ways to lower my car insurance.
