As the new visa bulletin shows the 2016 cut off numbers for October, I thought this thread would be helpful to share the 2nd notification letter for the interview appointment and also the interview experience itself for everyone in all regions. Please feel free to post your experiences for 2016...

That's what I've seen too but I had my previous passport number saved on there and it's grayed out so i can't amend it. My worry is that I can't use my same email again to creat a new profile.. Ahh I think I am going to email them for answers.. Good luck with your interview soon :)

Question guys, I was going through the checklist and noticed that you should have an online account if your interview is in Sydney?? I had an old online account from before, is that still okay to use??

I guess I have mixed emotions, I've lost my dad yesterday and on the same night I found the visa bulletin results. I don't know if I should be happy, sad or what.... I guess I have to have some hope to keep me going. Sorry guys if I bother you with my stories.

I trust u all so much more than you think but I guess my worries are that maybe the interview officer will get confused with my qualifications as it is from Egypt and not Australia or may be my husband's court case that happened in 2006, might seem for him that we've hidden it deliberately..

Hi Ham64112 Ya I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time. I guess I am lucky with my number and hope to be as lucky in the interview too.. The visa bulletin comes out on the 10th or 11th of each month, few more days to go:)

you meant to have 2 recent photos with you, with your name written at the back when you go to your interview. DS260 doesn't have photos attached to it :)

I did my police check on 14/07/15 and my interview is not yet scheduled, I don't think you need a new one at all. The website clearly states that it is valid for 12 months and has to be valid when you enter the United States. If I was you I won't even bother:)

Also my husband has been working in a bank as a branch manager for the pas 7 years and was never asked about this conviction when he was doing his police checks. He also worked as security officer before the bank and this subject never came up. So confused now and not sure how to go about it...
