Hi,

Iam a green card holder currently been in the US as a permanent resident for 4years and 4 months. This year (2009) in june i will be reaching 4yrs 8 months for applying for my US Citizenship.

As Iam not yet married, however Planning to marry soon someone who is currently a student holding F1 Visa in US. Please Let me know the ways to get married.

My questions are:

1. When would I proceed to get married? After applying For US Citizenship? Or After Getting US Citizenship?
2. Which way is most favourable to add my sopuse for Green card?
3. What are Other different ways Possible?

Do I have to necessarily be employed in the US for all the 5 years as a green card holder before I can apply for citizenship?
Can I be out of work for >3 months?
Can I marry on GC with my spouse and add her?
Can I marry after getting Citizenship, would it be easy?
