I had a nice assian officer. My case was kind of complicated. I got my polytical assylum in 12/1996, applied for green card in 1998 and got denied because of I did not provide certified court dispostion of my 1997 DUI arrest. Then had to re-apply again and got my GC in may 2006
So I applied based on 5 years of GC. My interview was 10 min long eventhough I got asked a few dates from my assylum application. I got a letter with the box checked that I am recommended for approval, nowever due to the fact that I am an assylee a supervisor had to sign off on it. The officer said that I should be getting notified for an oath letter soon, He even pulled a calender showing me that the next Oath Date is 8th of June in OAK. I've heard that some people are getting their oath letters the same day in SF. (the form I got is N652 Naturalization Interview Results). Hope it helps. I will let you know when I hear from them.
