Hi everyone, my wife filed I-485 for me but it was denied because they said in there denied letter that they sent me a letter requesting extra evidence to sumbit for them with in 33days, the problem is I never received that letter so they denied my I-485, it says in the bottom of the letter i cant appeal ,i only can file motion to reopen and pay them $585,they also stated in the denial letter that my work permit and travel permit has been cancelled from the day of the denial, the 585 is not a problem as long as they stop playing games and approve my I-485, I was woundering how long does it take untill they reopen my I-485 case after i send the I-290b, do i need a lawyer to fill my I-290B or can my wife fill it, any samples on how to fill it? , after they approve my I-290b will i get my work permit active or do i have to file another work permit, I live in michigan and i have received all the letters about 8 of them from MO and never lost any, when my case was transfered to local area in Detroit, 1st letter they sent me its been lost, they did not make me sign on it or anything, i called uscis and told me that there is no record of them sending me the letter but it shows record that they sent me the denied letter!

My I-485 was denied because of a letter that I NEVER RECEIVED!!
