Denied rescheduling of asylum interview and referred to court

So l had applied for affirmative asylum in April 2025 and had my interview scheduled in May 2025. I had all the documents ready and sent them to my lawyer for review. My lawyer said that he has court on my interview date and that he’ll send me to the interview with another lawyer from his office. The other lawyer didn’t review my case and a week before the interview she recommended to 'reschedule' because she said some stuff need fixing and that l'll get a new date within a few weeks. I moved forward with her recommendation and got a reply from uscis 5 months later that I got referred to court. what's gonna happen to me now? I didn't even get a chance to interview. I don't have a work permit either bp because my EAD clock was on hold due to the rescheduling request

Honestly you and all others has got to be extra cautious working with this administration, everyone knows they are looking for every single reason to deny

Not sure the basis of your asylum (that's another part), USCIS definitely found you not eligible.

Try asking the same question here and you will get a weighted advise

But for sure now the reasoning will be within court, USCIS won't take it back so better start working on that

I second above. Now they can refer to court without interview if certain conditions are met.
