I will be on vacation to India when my 485 is likely to be approved based on tracker reports. I have valid EAD and AP. I was wondering if there are any consequences, which I should be aware of in my absence, or should I postpone my trip? Do I need to be in house to receive 485 courtesy copies...

My friend filed I485 few months back but his company is merging/being sold to another company. What happens to his I485 process? Does he need to file an amendment to I140 and re-apply his I485 through this new I140? It\'s very urgent, please let me know. Thanks
