    some more info. his case is straight forward. he moved from Phoenix,AZ to Norristown,PA in June 2001. his company is in Boston. No company change. he regrets he shouldn't have changed his address.

    My friend applied his I485 in oct 2000. his case was transfered to philly office sometime in aug 2001. his interview is scheduled for aug 7th. He said there are many people waiting like him. one year waiting . very scary.

    INS Philly office is taking 1 year to issue interview dates once the case is transfered to Philly local office. Residents of PA & Maryland, you will kiss bad luck if your 485 case is transfered to Philly office. thats it. forget about gc . one more year waiting after a year long waiting at vsc.
