    H4 denied. Re-enter through Canada/Mexico or India

    Wife is on H1. I was laid off and applied for an H4 status adjustment. This status adjustment was denied because of a 15 day delay in filing the application from the date of lay-off. I need to re-enter the country with a valid status. Is it advisable to get this in India or Canada/Mexico?
