OPT Extension under 1099

I have a few questions regarding my OPT extension. Currently My OPT is getting over on Feb 15th and I need to apply for OPT extension. I am working as an independent contractor (1099) since May 2010. My employer has agreed to register for E-Verify program. But we have a few doubts...
