    L1A to H1 ( Number of years and Eligibility)

    I am currently in L1A with company A for the past 6 years. My L1A expires on Nov 2010. In the meantime, Can I apply for H1B with company B for this year (2009) and if I am eligible to apply, can I stay for another 6 years with my new approved H1B starting this year 2009. Thanks for your help...
