OPT expired July 8th... Are you sure about waiting for the H1-B after the OPT expires? I heard that was the old rule, but that the BCIS did not issue that authority for this year. (therefore, a lawyer said I needed the B visa to fill the gap until the H1-B came)

I was on a F1-OPT visa, changed to a B-2 visa. Currently waiting for my H1-B application (filed regular processing) Application was filed June 28, and they are only doing May 17, 2004 now. My B-2 expires October 8th... Can one wait for the H1-B after the B-2 expires? Or do I have to...
