    when can a person apply for ssn?After stamping or after h1b is approved

    hi everyone i am currently resident in usa ...if my permit is approved i have to travel abroad to get it stamped.can someone please tell me if i can apply for ssn after i get h1b or is it after i get h1b stamped?

    can a person receive his/her paycheck where h1b not stamped/doesnt have ssn

    hi everyone i am in a dilema...my h1b is being processed but i wont be able to get it stamped till maybe dec 05. so i cannot apply for ssn.by the time i get my ssn it might be jan..meanwhile can i receive my paycheck?

    can a spouse on h4 continue to reside in usa even though spouse on h1b has left the country?

    I have finished CPA in june,currently looking for job. would i be under the 20000 quota since i have US degree? if i get h1b done is it a new application or transfer from h4 to h1b? since i am from accounting background would that affect my h1b application? and if i get h1b in august...
