Hi everyone. I received my SSN card on tuesday this week. Problem is, everytime I try to use it for say, open an account, the system says that number does not exist. What could be the problem? What should I do to activate my SSN? Thank you so much.

I've tried to open an account online but it keeps saying my SSN doesnt exist. I received my SSN on Tuesday. I dont know what the problem might be. Anyone else been through this? Once you got your SSN, you tried to do things with it but the number couldn't be recognized? Please assist if you can.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes I called and filled AR-11. I've just called them again and they said its because I changed location. So the interview that had been scheduled in dallas has been cancelled. They will reschedule another one in Houston.
