Help: I-485/130 for Father, mistake in G-325A

Hi I am a US citizen and filed I-485/130/131 and other supporting forms and documents for my father on 1/12. We haven't received fingerprint appointment yet. I saw lots of people have already had fingerprint scheduled and they even submitted the application much later than I did. Just today...

Have you heard of an RFE for proof of satisfying the 180 day rule ?

Read the thread on top - an example of approval, you'll know what it is.

WAC-020-063 finally received RFE by attorney.

Moreover, what if the previous firm is out of business? Who can I ask for the tax paper?

AC 21 , After 180days change to new job with much less salary

confused. Today is 2004/1/14, 485 filed 2003/10/1, and you said you changed job after 180 days pending of I485. what does that mean?

I485 filed, but laidoff before 180 days

one clarification: we need to be clear of the reason why "AC21" is introduced. It is because of lengthy processing time for I485 by USCIS, nothing else, meaning it's a "penalty" to USCIS itself. Therefore, 180day is meant to the processing time, not employment time. The indication is, as long as...

11/28/2003 New development regarding AC21, from USCIS

Re: ginnu actually, as a common sense, promotion and salary increase is very normal throughout the industry. with a huge backlog of pending I485, restricting salary to one point is just ridiculous and making no sense.

Does using AP need original 485 receipt?

Incorrect. People who first time come to the US doesn't have I485 receipt at all. People who revalidated their H1 visa in DC mostly may not have I485 receipt at all. It is unnecessary and unreasonable for officers at entry of port to ask H1 visa holders for I485 receipt. As far as you are legal...

Not getting paid from GC sponsoring employer. Impact on gc approval

    AC 21 lawyer recommendations

You should submit job change notice with BCIS after you change job according to AC21 2003 memo. Otherwise you 'll receive a NOID (notice of intent to denial) and will have to submit sufficient information in 30 days, which is a little scary to everybody

    Job Change < 180 days

Thanks for Hope2003's post. As I interpreted, the 180 rule is applied based on the date your GC "is" approved, on other words, you CANNOT get a GC before 180days has passed while you've already changed job. The date of "changing job" make less sense nowadays and is illogical. I actually...
