I applied for H1 without the license because of the cap. I will like to know if they normally issue RFE for the license.

I am currently on H1 for my residency and I am joining a group in Texas that falls under the cap starting oct 1st. The INS release says the cap is reached and the applications received on the 5/26/06 will be subject to random(computer) selection and mine was received on that day.

Actually, I am going to be on vacation from june 1st till the end of my residency

Avice needed I cannot tell my employers to start my H1 on the 25th since my residency ends on the 30th of June.

I am currently on H1 till 6\25\06 and my residency ends on 6/30/06. should i extend my H1 for 5days or should I just file for a july 1st start day as I already have a job as an attending.
