hi guys, i have a question regarding my application for petition for alien relative that has been denied. "The reason is a stepchild, whether or not born out of wedlock, provided the child had not reached the age of the eifhteen years at the time the marriage creating a status of stepchild occured". as suc, the beneficiary is ineligible for classification under section 201 (b) (A) (i) of the act. Please plsease help me out. can anyone explain this? or should i just get a lawyer or appeal or reappeal. thanks!
