BACKGROUND:-I 140 approved with priority date Nov 2004. I-94 expired this month on 08/18/09. Applied for H1 B extension (I-129 concurrent with I-539) beyond 6 years and received by USCIS on 07/30/09. USCIS has now RETURNED our I-129 AND I-539 forms back and has requested current LCA copy. The forms have all been stamped with the received date 07/30/09.My lawyer has now filed online for my current LCA
1> Is this a problem situation or are me and my wife still in status SINCE USCIS HAS CONFIRMED RECEIPT OF FORMS BEFORE OUR I-94 EXPIRY.
2> Since I have approved I-140 and this is my extension beyond 6 years with same company DO YOU ANTICIPATE MUCH TROUBLE IN GETTING A CURRENT LCA IN 7 DAYS AND MY EXTENSION APPROVAL SOON ?
