    H4 expired >6 months back

    Usually it will take 4 to 5 months. Which Serice center did you sent ? I did the same thing and i got approval from california service center . But they didn't give for earlier period( 1yr). expired on Nov 06 applied July 07 got approval in Nov from Nov 07 to Nov 09.
