Hi, I hope some one can provide me a clear guidance of how this works.
I am a Green Card holder since June of 2008. I was granted Asylum on May 2003. I heard you can apply for Citizenship 5 or 6 years from the date Asylum has been granted, but what I have read on the Immigration website says I can only apply after 5 years of my Green Card issuance.
Can I start counting from when I was granted assylum and apply for Citizenship? Please help.
