can someone help me.. please
my ex-husband and i separated after 1 yr of marriage/ now divorced. i'm a legal US citizan. i pulled out of sponsoring him for his greencard (I felt that he married to get his gc).
that all being said, he recently contacted me and requested that i send him a photocopy of my driver lic so that he could submit it with his documents. he received an "notice action required form and to proove evidence".
is he trying to use me because he's at risk for deportation??
btw- a friend of mine told me that he was asking his friends (who i don't know) to submit letters on his behalf about us. not sure what that means, or if i should be concerned. also, we never shared any bank acct's, we never had both our names on property of life ins etc. we did live together before the separation and he tried to reconcile a few times.. probably cause he was still trying to use me for his immigration issues.
