My 485 has been approved for a year while my wife's 485 is still pending. I want to quit my job and look for a new one because I really hate it. will it affect my wife's case if I stay unemployed for a while. any answer is greatly appreciated.

I am the primary applicant and I got my GC for over a year, but my wife's case is still pending. I want to quit my job and stay unemployed for a while. will it jeopardize my wife's I-485 if I do so? any help is greatly appreciated
