Did anybody file EAD online before July 31st? I filed EAD renewal online and the fee they charged me was $340 ( New filing fee). I thought fee is not changing until August. What do I need to do? Please advice. Thanks

Important and Frustrating News from AILA: On Monday or Tuesday of next week, State Department plans to issue a revised Visa Bulletin for July 2007. This revised Bulletin would retrogress some or all of the employment-based categories, very likely to the point of unavailable. Reports from AILA...

May be u r right I think you are partially correct. They might wait till next bulletin to pull max number of people into the system but they would make more money on the people who file now than people who file after July31st. People who file with the new fee need not pay for EAD or AP...

I am guessing that we should see a flood of approvals in the coming weeks. So long USCIS is holding on approvals to get the dates to current. Now that they made it current with JULY bulletin, they should start approving cases. Had they approved all the pre adjuducated cases from the first week...

No. I didn't invoke AC-21. I got married after I filed my I-485 and filed my wife's application later.

I just got an email that my case is sent to NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. My last LUD was 08/19/06. Anybody know what I should be expecting????? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Exactly.... I was told the same answer when I called on Monday that security check is pending on my case. Today I took infopass appt and the lady took a print out and showed me when my name check and back ground check are cleared. Dont believe in what the NSC IO's say......

There is no expiration for Name Check. Once cleared it will be valid for the appl. If you file a different appl, then name check need to be done again..
