I did not get any more updates. My attorney is trying to do the needful. I really dont know what the needful is. I think its a data entry thing as the first defense. But if we don't communicate, it will remain as a TR and probably won't be looked at until the end. They won't give back any months...
I am not an attorney, so whatever I say is not legal advice in any kind. If you had filed Labor in the RIR category, you should probably talk to your employer to see if they received any communication related to prevailing wage or anything of that sort. Otherwise, there is an email address in...
mine too, I filed as an RIR, it shows TR, and the case status doc that they send me also shows TR which I did not notice. I will have to let my attorney know as ASAP, contact your attorneys ASAP and see what can be done. Do post any progress back in this thread.
I think thats a very fair judgement. I got my 45 day letter in Feb 15th of 06, my PD is Mar 21 of 03. I was worried about the letters before I got mine, but now I see people started getting letters. So hopefully by June they will complete all the letters and then approvals will begin. Then there...
I really have no clue and I would not want to give you wrong information. I was thinking if your I-140 is approved and if you file for H1 extension, you get extension for 3 years instead of your 1 year extensions if your Labor was pending. Now if you leave the country work for some other company...
This is really a hard one to say, if they allow 485 to be filed together again, it will be terrible but if they dont allow or no law comes by favourably, then you are losing time atleast on your I140 stage, where you can get 3 year extensions rather than 1 year extensions. Once your I-140 is...
I explored the same option and I was told, GC is for a future job, so in all circumstances you are allowed to leave the country and work for anybody you want not just your current employer until your turn comes up for you to come back during your 485 stage. I am not a lawyer nor consider myself...

As I suspected (Guess), Washington with a W boxes are being opened last. Lets hope everyone get their letters and their approvals too.
The site is up now, I just checked. If not here is the contact details, I would email, call them first, they are pretty good at replying. If not email US consulate, the last I heard is they honor all appointments taken from ttvisas.

newspaper article on problems we face
One of the articles I read in Seattle times pretty says it all. If any of you are talking to senators, congressmen or anyone who is interested to know some of the issues non-immigrants face, you should point them to this article. It really is painful, not...
Talking points with Senators and Congressmen
When each of you write letters, or talk to senators and representatives on your pains and problems on visa retrogression, I read an article which is pretty much a reality that affects most of us, if not the exact same scenario. I think this article...

My only guess is 45 day letters have been extremely slow for WA state as compared to California, as they must be alphabetically opening boxes to be entered into the system.
Its just an observation based on what my friends from California and other states have gotten Labor approved.
