Hi,
I am an Indian Citizen. I work in US and have valid H1B visa. The H1-B
visa has been approved, but has not yet been stamped (my previous Visa
status F1 has expired). In July, I need to attend a conference in
Vancouver, Canada. Can I get my H1-B visa stamped in my passport from
Vancouver? If so, what is the procedure? How long does it take to get
the stamped passport back from the visa appointment date?
My wife (also Indian Citizen) will also be participating in the
conference. She is working under the valid Employment Authorization
Document( EAD) card. Her F1-Visa has been expired. She also needs her
F1 visa stamped in her passport. Please let me know the procedure for
her as well, in case it's different than mine.
Thanks,
Santanu Pramanik
