By the way - Does anyone have an idea about timing for next step after a decision cannot be made on N-562 (San Francisco office), or about the type of documents that can be requested? Thanks!

Update Unfortunately, the officer could not reach a decision. He asked regarding the application I withdrew, a few question about my wife and me. I had lots of documents, but he did not ask for anything. He told me he would let me know by mail if he needs anything. I will keep you updated.
