    CP after being laid off!!

    I was laid off when i was 2 months in to the CP and before i could go for the Counselor Processing interview in Chennai in September. What do i do now? I am trying to get back on status asap. But other than that, can i switch to I-485 now? What steps can i take towards the GC processing as of now?
