SSN for Wife
We already have the ITIN number for tax filing purposes. that was applied last year- before we got the EAD. My question is can I apply for a SSN at this stage ( EAD approved, but still on H4)? Should I apply only when she is working ( using the EAD)? I understand with just a H4 I cannot...- rvc2824

Hello Immigration gurus, I am on H1 visa( wife on H4) and have applied for a GC (EB2).I & my wife have received our EAD's recently. Can I apply for a SSN for my wife? Is there any advantage of applying for a SSN now? what would be the best time to apply for an SSN?- rvc2824
