I came on a B1/B2 visa in 2001,granted F-1 visa in 2001.In college due to financial hardship I fell out of status couple of times,was reinstatement.I worked without authorization over the years, did file tax through out.I was even taken into custody for 30 days while going to college in 2004,judge dismissed the case even the employment issue was raised and granted F1.In 2007 I got married to a us Citizen in good faith.Filed I-130,I-485and employment.Approved I-130 ,work permit. After 1 1/2 year received denial letter for I-485 reason stating that I falsified to be a us citizen-national on an I-9 form in 2004 and working permit is also revoked. Currently I am in removal proceedings reasons provided that I worked without authorization over the years, letter is a notice to appear but date has yet to be set .My lawyer states that asylum is the only option and does not seem to put much effort.I did not hide anything from immigration, supplied every detail possible.I need advice,please help.
